Mixed media procedure
When I started researching for Mixed Media, the first thing I searched was what it was. Mixed Media is described as, "An artwork in which more than one medium or material has been employed.” From there, I did some more research and defined it as a combination/variety of media compiled into one piece of artwork. As I further proceeded, it was brought to my attention that this form of artwork could be used for assemblages and collages. There were also many materials that could be used for mixed media. For example, cloth, paper, wood, paint, and other found materials were the most common and widely used materials for this specific concept. After all my research was finished, I created a list of the materials I would need and bought what was necessary and used what was already owned. From there, I took what I had used it to my advantage to create what I presented as my final mixed media project.
