My sustained investigation will focus on physical isolation and how it can teach us more about ourselves, both positively and negatively. My inspiration for this came from looking at work from Henri Prestes and Todd Hido. I like the eerie vibe and feeling of uncertainty that these pieces of work give me. They kind of give me this idea that we aren’t ever really complacent, further undervaluing ourselves and the way we go about living our lives. I think this is something I would love to explore and hopefully translate into my photography. I know this kinda sounds all over the place but this is what I am thinking so far for my sustained investigation.
